There are many ways to get involved at St. Thomas, and we invite you to explore the ministry opportunities listed below. Whether you're looking to serve, connect with others, or share your gifts, we'd love to have you join us.

Lectors and Intercessors
Each Sunday we have lectors who will read the Old Testament and New Testament scriptures for each service. Intercessors will read, and occasionally write our Prayers of the People.

Chalice Bearers & Acolytes
Chalice Bearers, or Lay Eucharistic Ministers, assist with administration of Holy Communion. Acolytes carry candles, the cross, assist the clergy at the altar, help prepare the communion table, and perform other duties that support the reverent and orderly celebration of worship.

Ushers
Ushers greet arrivals, handout service bulletins, and assist with passing the offering plate.

Altar Guild
The Altar Guild keeps the Sanctuary neat and tidy and ready for worship. They also help arrange decorations for holidays.

Flower Guild
The Flower Guild uses their green thumbs and an eye for beauty to enrich our space by organizing flowers for our altar and sanctuary.

Educators
Our Educators share gifts of knowledge at Sunday Forum, Wednesday Bible Study, or Godly Play.

Musicians
Our musicians help lead the congregation in worship each Sunday through the gift of music. The St. Thomas Choir also enriches our worship by leading the congregation in song, inspiring all to lift their voices in praise.

Coffee Hour
Our Coffee Hour volunteers prepare coffee and snacks for our socialization time after the 10:30 am service.

Nursery Assistants
Our Nursery Assistants, who are all safe church trained, help keep an eye on all of our little ones during services and other church events.
